Valkyrie — 2021
The Valkyrie is the most extreme and most ambitious creation in the whole of Aston Martin’s history. Born of a close collaboration with Red Bull Racing Advanced Technologies and the genius of Adrian Newey, its aerodynamic design is entirely dictated by track logic: the massive diffuser, the Venturi tunnels and the side vents generate aerodynamic loads that rival those of a Le Mans car. Its naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 by Cosworth, which revs to 11,100 rpm to produce 1,000 bhp, is complemented by an MGU-K hybrid system developing an additional 160 bhp — for a total of 1,139 bhp.
Limited to 150 road examples — to which are added 25 AMR Pros intended exclusively for the track — the Valkyrie represents the pinnacle of what a road-legal car can offer in terms of pure technology and performance. On Aston Passion, the Hyper-Cars section gathers all the discussions about these exceptional machines, with members who follow the track appearances of the delivered examples with passion. The Valhalla, a more accessible hybrid hypercar with its 1,064 bhp, completes the Gaydon hypercar range.
